Knots fill their stomachs as their senses shut down

They can’t sleep or eat or see or even speak

at night or in the morning

or even during the day

They are so worried…

So worried that they may let go

and leave as if they don’t believe in He

all because of HIV

Deep from within his soul the answer lies

as his heart and eyes cry

For the longest time, knowing was not beautiful

It was rather the death of him and that was reality

He lived life perfectly not knowing if destiny was this disease

He didn’t want his life to be altered although this news

would change his life views

Deep from within his soul he didn’t want to know

Deep from within her soul the answer lies

All she did was love her husband

Stand by his side during times of need

Did everything she could to build a family

Raise the kids while he was a work

While he sat home she took the kids to church

Gave all she could give to please

and he brought her home this disease

Deep from within her soul she didn’t want to know
